Stranger Things season 4 finally has a release date! And while we admittedly want the show to return sooner, it’s great to know that there is so much content in season 4 that they had to divide the season up into two. Yes, you read that right! There’s going to be a volume 1 and 2 with the first one being released on May 27, 2022 and the second one following right after on July 1st.
According to an official release about season 4, it’s been six months since the Battle at Starcourt. As expected, everyone is struggling with the aftermath of that and being separated for the first time while navigating being a teen and high school. But the mysteries of the Upside Down follow our favorites no matter where they go and this last mystery might be the catalyst to ending it all and most certainly finding their way back to Hopper.
The last part there is the most important to us, #SorryNotSorry. In a story about found family, Eleven and Hopper have found a home with each other. And to see them being ripped away from each other hurts us to our very core. Here’s hoping that season 4 of Stranger Things doesn’t keep them apart all season long. Because we need that reunion scene and we need it now!
