Sometimes the television gods get it right and renew shows that should be given all the chances in the world. Shows that tell real stories, important stories, and ones that we can see ourselves in are far and few between these days.
Single Drunk Female was one of those shows for us. It was incredibly real, moving, and relatable.
Freeform renewed the Sofia Black-D’Elia and Ally Sheedy fronted series for a second season and we couldn’t be happier. Rebecca Henderson, Sasha Compère, Lily Mae Harrington and Garrick Bernard also star in the hit series.
Single Drunk Female follows 20-something Samantha Fink, who lost her job in New York, was forced to move home with her Mom, and her journey of sobriety. It shows the ups and downs of her life and her journey to figuring out who she’s meant to be. We get to see the best and the worst of Samantha and the people around her.
We can’t wait for season two of the show. Did you watch the first season? Tell us all your thoughts.
