The streaming gods giveth and the streaming gods take away. Look, did we like the musical ending to The Time Traveler’s Wife? No. But did we love everything else about the show? Yes.
So no shocker here that our romantic hearts were broken when HBO stabbed the proverbial knife through our hearts and cancelled the multiple looks at Theo James’ ass we were getting every week.
We already said that we liked it for more than his ass. The storyline is good. There are just so many possibilities of where it could go!
“Though HBO will not be moving forward with a second season of The Time Traveler’s Wife, it was our privilege to partner with master storytellers Steven Moffat and David Nutter,” an HBO spokeswoman said to Deadline. “We are so grateful for their passion, hard work and care for adapting this beloved book. We also thank Theo and Rose, and the rest of our brilliant cast for their heartfelt performances, which completely captivated audiences.’”
Anyone else having a hard time understanding studios and their need to cancel things? Like what does a person have to do for more than one season of something?
We’re not asking for a friend. We’re asking for us.
