Andor is less than two months away, and though we still don’t have a lot of concrete information about the events the series will focus on, we do know some stuff. We know how many episodes it will have: 12. We know the first two will premiere on Disney+ August 31st.

The “Andor” series will explore a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.
Plus, there’s the promise of a second season, which is set to take us straight to Rogue One, and then the Original Trilogy.
It’s not much, but it’s enough to get us really, really excited for the future of a galaxy far, far away.
