The TV gods are looking down on us, they truly are. HBO has announced that Pedro Pascal and David Harbour will lead the True-Crime Limited Series My Dentist’s Murder Trial and like, we don’t even need to like true crime, we’re still gonna watch this because …oh yes, Pedro. David.
What’s the right gif? Oh, yes:
Look, we’re having some …feelings about The Mandalorian sharing a screen with Jim Hopper. And not just those kinds of feelings, either.
Variety reports both will star and executive produce the series.
The series will be based on James Lasdun’s 2017 New Yorker article “My Dentist’s Murder Trial: Adultery, False Identities, and a Lethal Sedation,” which is the absolutely bonkers true story of dentist Gilberto Nunez.
Harbour was last seen on Stranger Things Season 4, which broke records on Netflix. The show is set to return for a fifth and final season, with Harbour’s Hopper, who was just reunited with daughter Eleven at the end of Season 4, set to face Vecna alongside the kids who have carried this show, and of course, the love of his life, Joyce.
Pascal, meanwhile, is set to return to The Mandalorian early next year for Season 3, and will also appear in the HBO adaptation of the video game The Last of Us in the lead role.
