But what are we talking about? Well, Netflix officially handed a straight-to-series order to a new spy drama from A24 that reunites the Brown and Harbour. This time they will be an estranged father and daughter forced back into each other’s lives under the worst possible circumstances.
If that wasn’t enough to get us excited, the project also comes from Emmy-winning writer Jack Thorne, who will write and executive produce the series. Also, Brown and Harbour will not only lead the cast but also serve as executive producers.
What is Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour’s New Show About?
The show doesn’t have a title yet but it centers on Matt Wolfe (Harbour), a disgraced former FBI agent who reinvented himself as a security expert after leaving the Bureau behind. His life is shattered when his daughter Rebecca (Brown), an FBI agent, disappears during a mission. Her disappearance forces Matt back into an FBI that changed since he walked away.
So the story will have spies but still focus in a fractured father-daughter relationship. In words of Jinny Howe, Netflix head of scripted series, US and Canada, they’re “delighted to bring this spy drama to life with an extraordinary group of talent we’ve been fortunate to collaborate with before.

Behind the scenes, the project also brings together an experienced producing team. Jake Bongiovi and Robert Brown will executive produce through PCMA Productions, joined by Joe Hipps and Patrick McDonald for Cut To, as well as KC Wenson for Bravo Axolotl.
With A24 producing, Netflix backing the series, Jack Thorne steering the story, and Brown and Harbour reuniting in leading roles, this already feels like one of the most intriguing upcoming dramas—and one we’ll be keeping a very close eye on.
