The hard part of loving an actor is when a show that they are in is cancelled. It’s even harder when you can understand why it is that the show was cancelled.
We’re big fans of Rebecca Rittenhouse, we’ve loved her in a lot of things. But Maggie? It was okay, it just wasn’t great. We couldn’t get through it and that saddened us.
It wasn’t because of the cast that we couldn’t get through it. It was the writing for us. We did like the first episode.
Hulu has officially cancelled the show after one season. The show was based on Tim Curcio’s short film, Maggie.
Rittenhouse starred as Maggie, a psychic navigating the dating world of Los Angeles. Her gift allows her to see into the future of others – friends, parents, clients – but when she starts to see glimpses of her own future everything starts to change and become complicated. When she meets Ben, she can’t seem to allow him in, because she thinks that she knows exactly how it ends. Would you be able to fall in love if you knew that it wouldn’t end happily?
In addition to Rittenhouse, the show featured, David Del Rio, Nichole Sakura, Leonardo Nam, Angelique Cabral, Ray Ford, Chloe Bridges, Kerri Kenney and Chris Elliott.
If you want to see the first season, it is streaming now on Hulu.
