Sylvester struggles to find balance post-Starman on Stargirl 3×03, “Frenemies – Chapter Three: The Blackmail.” Unsurprisingly, that battle results in a literal one in the aisles of Blue Valley’s local grocery store; Sylvester uses his time with the Cosmic Staff to take on the Crocks.
The photo of the couple with Courtney and Pat could be after the fight and about it. It’s also likely that the Crocks are fessing up to whatever they’re hiding. After all, Stargirl 3×02, “Frenemies – Chapter Two: The Suspects,” shows that they have secrets and a motive. Maybe Sylvester knows the truth that the Crocks wish to keep hidden.
Whether or not Larry and Paula share something confidential with Courtney and Pat, the murder mystery will take another twist when an anonymous tip reaches out to the JSA to help their investigation. Could Beth and Rick be on the way to discovering the truth about the lead, or is Rick letting Beth help him with Grundy?
Either is excellent, really; it likely means the Hournite dynamic will develop more, which is always a plus. Per the photos, “Frenemies – Chapter Three: The Blackmail” will deliver another more shocking dynamic than Beth and Rick — Sylvester and Yolanda. In his hunt for a job, it appears Sylvester turns to Richie Rock’s Diner.
It’s a safe bet that the job interview will go as well as Cindy sitting with the JSA during lunch at Blue Valley High. Maybe Stargirl will cut through the tension as Courtney and Cameron continue to wade through theirs. Could the future finally be bright for Camney, or will their relationship freeze up before it even begins?
