If you were invested in season 3 of Love is Blind, then get ready for all the updates with After the Altar!
For those unfamiliar, Love is Blind is a Netflix reality series where a bunch of hopefuls test the concept: is love truly blind? The women and men are put into pods where they can’t see each other. Through a partition, they get to go on dates with all the contestants. And as connections are made, people fall in love and make the decision to get engaged. Their love is further tested as they enter the real world. And by the end of the series, they walk down the aisle and make their final decision.
Per every season, drama happened all throughout season 3. We’re looking at you Matt with all your anger issues and Bartise with his foot-in-mouth syndrome. Drama also happened during the reunion, with Zanab calling out Cole due to the whole Cuties situation, Bartise getting dragged, and Raven and SK revealing they were together. Oh, and we can’t forget the drama after the season 3 reunion. You know…the drama where cheating allegations came left and right and Netflix dropped the Cuties scene.
Now…we get to see what comes after that. And personally, I’m rooting for the women. I hope Nancy is making bank, Raven is happy and/or has found love, and that Colleen is free and passionately persuing her career. Most importantly, I hope the show gives Alexa a chance to show the woman that Brennon fell in love with. The show really didn’t give them enough because they were safe. But sometimes we like safe. And I hope Zanab gets a chance to speak her truth after the wave of backlash due to the Cuties scene.
