After appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tobey Maguire’s not done with Spider-Man just yet. Looks like we could be seeing more of the classic web-slinger if Marvel simply requests it.
Fans are being treated to even more teases with Marvel’s new book, Spider-Man: No Way Home The Official Movie Special. The book gives fans an inside look with exclusive interviews with the cast including Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire. If we weren’t excited to get more Spider-Man content, Marvel.com gave us a sneak peek into what the book holds.
Both Maguire and Garfield shared how they felt returning to Spider-Man and what that meant to them. Maguire says that when Marvel called him to return, he said “finally!” For him, it was only natural to say yes. He then dives deeper into his future as Spider-Man.
“I love these films and I love all of the different series. If these guys called me and said, “Would you show up tonight to hang out and goof around?” or “Would you show up to do this movie or read a scene or do a Spider-Man thing?”, it would be a “yes!” Because why wouldn’t I want to do that?”
So, pause your rewatch of the Raimi Spider-Man movies and keep your eyes peeled for any news. As of right now, there’s nothing solid about a fourth Spider-Man movie. Rumors are that there will be another film, however, no one knows when it will be. Currently, upcoming MCU projects have no real release date. So for now, we’ll have to live on this kind of exclusive content about phase four.
With the MCU expanding to include characters like Maguire’s Peter Parker, there is no telling what the franchise will be like in the future. Hopefully, it includes more Maguire because his excitement is too cute to handle.
