Jessica Chastain is a phenomenal actress. We love and adore her. Looking over all of the roles that she’s taken on, we can’t really find a role that we didn’t love her in.
The actress is taking on a new role, signing on for an eight part series, The Savant, for Apple TV. She will be playing a, “top-secret investigator known as the Savant, who infiltrates online hate groups to take down the most violent men in the country.”
Sounds dark AF and though this type of show normally scares me, I have to admit that for Jessica, I will watch. she
The series is based on a true story published by Cosmopolitan, which was written by Andrea Stanley. Stanley will consult and TBH we love this, because we love that a writer doesn’t have to write a book, that Hollywood recognizes the importance of writers of all mediums.
The series comes from Anatomy of a Scandal co-creator Melissa James Gibson. It is produced by Fifth Season and Anonymous Content, and Chastain will executive produce under her Freckled Films banner.
We’re looking forward to seeing it, even though it will probably give us nightmares.
