Becky G has been going through a lot lately, but that doesn’t stop her from following her dreams. The singer is making a return to acting and we’re glad that she is. We’ve missed her on our screens. Peacock is developing Queen of Flow, am adaptation of Caracol Television’s Colombian telenovela, La Reina Del Flow.
We’re here for this. We’re here for everything.
Telenovela’s are always dramatic AF, but we love drama. Well like drama as long as it is not ours. That’s why we watch way too much television.
The premise of the show? It’s “Count of Monte Cristo-esque tale set against the backdrop of Latin music.”
Gonna have to pull up Google in order to remind ourselves what the Count of Monte Cristo is about. Bad english major here.
The series is “a revenge tale/music drama about a young singer-songwriter named Yeimi (Becky G), who rises to fame in the music world and finds a star-crossed love with the superstar scion of a powerful family. But on her rise to the top, dark secrets are discovered about both Yeimi and the family she’s made her own that set them on a collision course towards a reckoning that could destroy them all.”
We’d so watch this. Will you?
