While season one of Sex/Life wasn’t our thing, we have to admit that season two wasn’t so bad. It was actually not so bad. Part of that was that it was wrapped up nicely and there really wasn’t a need for more.
So, are we shocked that the show was cancelled? Nope.
It is official, Netflix has cancelled the show. The dramedy series starred Sarah Shahi, Margaret Odette, Mike Vogel and Adam Demos, and came to an organic close.
Based on the book 44 Chapters About 4 Men by BB Easton, the adaptation from Netflix had a devoted following, but Shahi did say that the second season wasn’t as good as the first for her.
“I definitely did not have the support that I did the first season,” Shahi said. “I’m not going to put it [the show] down, but I definitely did not have the support that I did the first season from the people involved in the show,” star Shahi said on the Not Skinny Not Fat Podcast.
We’re sad that she would feel that way, but if that is the way that she felt we have to admit that we’re glad it is coming to an end.
