Seriously, television may be a big part of the reason that we have trust issues. Like a huge part. It’s the moment that you become invested in something that a streamer or a studio will take it away from you. No warning, no explanation. Just heartache.
And that’s what this writer feels happened with National Treasure: Edge of History. Disney cancelled the show and well, it feels as though everything gets taken away. Liam and Jess, I need to know what happened with Liam and Jess.
If you aren’t familiar with the reboot, National Treasure: Edge of History told the story of, “Jess Valenzuela’s life is turned upside down when an enigmatic stranger gives her a clue to a centuries-old treasure that might be connected to her long-dead father. Jess has a knack for solving puzzles, and her skills are put to the test as she and her friends follow a series of clues hidden in American artifacts and landmarks. But can Jess outsmart a black-market antiquities dealer in a race to find history’s greatest lost treasure and unbury the truth about her family’s past?”
National Treasure: Edge of History starred Antonio Cipriano, Catherine Zeta Jones, Jake Austin Walker, Jordan Rodrigues, Lisette Olivera, Lyndon Smith, and Zuri Reed.
Not thrilled about this cancellation. Not in the least bit.
