Taylor Lautner and Taylor Lautner have been in New York doing the media rounds to promote their podcast, The Squeeze. The actor has been asked repeatedly about the release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) because as we all know one song on there is about him.
Back to December.
Now while, personally, we love that song. We really don’t even think about Taylor Lautner when it comes to the song. Yes, we know that it was written about him, bit also don’t care. We actually are like over hearing about him and the whole thing. But, that being said, it doesn’t mean that other people are free from the world being like you’re just the worst.
It’s been a running joke on social media where people are like Jake Gyllenhaal is passing the torch to John Mayer. And we do get why it’s there, but it’s also just not funny to us. Taylor Lautner is, however, hanging onto the fact that some think it’s funny and he’s trying to ride the wave of it. We get it, he’s looking for people to pay attention to him.
When asked about the album and how he felt about it, he started this whole #prayforjohn hashtag.
“I think it’s a great album. Yeah, I feel safe,” Taylor told TODAY.com. “Praying for John.”
I guess that we’re all going to give him some attention. Personally, I’d rather give him attention for the podcast he’s promoting, but here we are.
His wife posted a TikTok of Taylor getting down on his knees, praying, with Dear John playing in the background. Tacky as f*** in this writers opinion.
The caption, “#prayforjohn”

Now we get they are trying to promote their podcast, but this is all overboard, and we don’t find it cute or funny. Taylor Swifts past is just that, her past. Leave it there.
But way to try and remain relevant. Thank God we were Team Edward.
