Let’s preface this by saying we’re not old — we’re vintage. But the Marvel Cinematic Universe is indeed fifteen years old, because the movie that started it all, Iron Man, is fifteen years old. And this is the perfect time to revisit how it all started (and, you know, completely ignore where it all ended for Tony Stark, Pepper Potts, and their family)
Far as we’re concerned, they’re still living happily ever after. We even have some Tony survives fics to help you live in denial.
But back to nostalgia-land, if you’ve got some 20 or so minutes to spare, here is a nice little video that takes you back to where it all started, and what made the MCU what it now is — good, and bad. It might make you a bit emotional. And though there is quite a few we would change about the MCU, on the whole, it’s given us many great moments, and we owe most of it to this movie.
Feels like the time for an Iron Man rewatch, doesn’t it?
