Netflix’s The Out-Laws looks like the perfect combination between a rom-com and an action film. There’s a niche there and it’s being explored more and more lately. Think J-Lo and Josh Duhamel getting married but also fighting bad guys. Except here, it’s not just the couple, but also the in-laws! Or, the out-laws? Yes, we did say out-laws. Yes, laugh at the pun. We kinda did. And then we rolled our eyes. On par for the course.
And of course, because this is a rom-com-adjacent movie, they are just as attractive as the main couple. Though we’re not sure the mustache is working, Mr. Brosnan. Perhaps we’re still feeling a little too raw after the Ted Lasso finale.
Either way, here is the trailer for another movie we will probably be watching right away as we continue to hope the people who write these movies and the shows we love (and hate and sometimes get mad at), get paid their fair share by studios. We can disagree on endings and twists, they still deserve a fair deal.

Owen Browning (Adam Devine) is a straight-laced bank manager about to marry the love of his life, Parker (Nina Dobrev). When his bank is held up by the infamous Ghost Bandits during his wedding week, he believes his future in-laws (Pierce Brosnan and Ellen Barkin) who just arrived in town, are the infamous Out-Laws.
