Netflix continues to expand on its Asian content with the official trailer for DELETE. The thriller series from Thailand tells the story of a pair of lovers who are in an extramarital affair. And just as they’re planning a plot to start a new life together, one of them discovers a phone that can make people disappear. Well, “discover” might not be the right word.
In the official trailer, someone approaches what we assume is the lead, in a supermarket. It’s a young woman who is clearly distressed. She hands a unique-looking phone over to the woman and asks her to take a photo of the young woman. When the lead takes the photo, something straight out of Thanos’s playbook happens and the young woman is gone.
Instead of dropping that phone and running in the opposite direction, the lead takes the phone. She keeps it and uses it to help hide her secrets, plan her future, and then take part in deciding who will be deleted from her life. The plot twist happens when the lead herself disappears and the two men in her life are left spiraling and trying to figure out what happened.
DELETE stars Ice Natara, Nat Kitcharit, Fah Sarika, Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying, Jaonaay Jinjett, Charlette Wasita, and Nopachai Chaiyanam. Both Chutimon and Nopachai acted together in the Netflix film Hunger. DELETE was directed by Oh-Parkpoom Wongpoom.
