Another year, another season of Netflix’s Too Hot to Handle. Never watched? Lucky you. It’s essentially a show about a bunch of hot singles and how they have to resist any sexual act in order to win a shitload of money. For every penalty broken, money is deducted from the prize fund. And oh do these people not care about the fund? Well, some do. But a lot of them like to break the rules and with season 5 here we’ve got a whole new cast of people ready to break them.
From Louis not being able to decide and stringing along women like nothing, to Isaac essentially cheating on Courtney instead of manning up and telling her he wasn’t interested, here are the four messiest moments from Too Hot to Handle season 5 episodes 1 through 4. And make sure to come back after the new episodes drop on July 21st because those are going to be just as messy.
1. Louis telling three different girls he’d share a bed with them
Louis decided that he would make a statement coming into Too Hot to Handle. That statement being that he’s a pushover or that he’s a player. I’m leaning toward the latter as he told Hannah, Christine, and Megan that he would share a bed with them. This all happened after talking about banter with Megan, rubbing all over Christine, and then just sitting there as Hannah declared her territory. Honestly, all the women can do better.
2. Louis kissing Christine & then kissing Hannah
Louis cannot make up his mind. One second he’s making moon eyes at Christine during a beachside secret date. And the next he’s kissing Hannah in bed and breaking the rules. To make it even worse he makes excuses about how it’s essential for brain function for him to stimulate himself. If that’s what you think, then maybe you do belong on Too Hot to Handle. Maybe this show will help you. But I will admit, I do love the drama you bring at every turn. It’s what I signed up for after all right?
3. Elys and Alex causing disaster when they chose each other
Kudos to Elys and Alex for not stringing along Megan and Hunter for longer than three episodes. But even then it was hella shady to dump Hunter during your date to just bring Alex around. I thought there was a connection with Hunter and something that really sparked something in you. The same thing goes for Alex. And I don’t think I’m ever going to forgive either of them for making Megan cry like that. I don’t know what it is about her, maybe she reminds me of Chloe from season 1, but Megan needs to be protected.
4. Isaac cheating on Courtney after learning about her past
Even though these relationships are in the baby stages of development, there’s no excuse for cheating on someone. This is especially true after sharing all that time where you are all lovey dovey. I really feel like Isaac lured Courtney into a full sense of security. But there’s also the fact that Courtney did jump in just like Isaac did. But at least give someone a heads-up that you’re not really into it like they are. And come to Courtney as soon as you feel something instead of telling your guy friends that you kissed the new girl for laughs. And it’s especially harsh after learning about Courtney’s past and how it has affected her.
