Our everyday scent is more like Bath and Body Works Vanilla than Dior, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t understand luxury. What it actually means is that we grew up poor, continue to be poor, and listened to our Nana who told us the luxury items were for when we did something special.
We = me.
Now, Beyonce is making us rethink Nana’s advice and that every moment should be considered special, because we’re grown and we are fabulous. While normally, we’d grasp our pearls (it’s a metaphor, cause once again, too poor to be able to afford pearls) at a price of over 150 bucks for a perfume, it’s Beyonce.
And that means we’ll pay.
Yes, say it with us, anything Beyonce puts out is worth it.
The superstar has announced a new perfume, that will be sold exclusively on her website. It doesn’t have a name yet, details are under wraps, and it won’t ship til November, but you know that we were happy AF to spend the $160 bucks.
The top notes of the fragrance are Clementine and Golden Honey, which are two of our favorites.
The fragrance will only be available in the USA and Canada. You can preorder yours here.
Side note: they do say special gift with purchase and so we’re praying that’s something good, so we can justify in our heads spending the money. If it’s not good, we’ll just keep telling ourselves that we can’t smell like Vanilla forever, right?
We’ll continue to find a way to justify this no matter what.
