It doesn’t matter your age, you deserve to be loved and give love. It’s a fact of life and one that we embrace. So as we sit here, still confused as to why the golden bachelor has such a bad spray tan, we’re like yay, you do you. Get your love on.
But here we are, unable to focus on anything but the fact that it looks like he bathes in tanning oil everyday and everyone is afraid to tell him. People, just because you are on a television show that has the word GOLDEN in it doesn’t mean you need to match the title.
Gary Turner is 71 and looking for love. What is described as “worth the wait” is something we’re definitely not sure about, but will we watch? Yes. Of course. We have to watch a hot mess happen. Turner is described as a doting father and grandfather – which hey, we’re all about. We love a man that puts family first and gives them all the love and support.
Red flag though, he lives in Indiana. Well at least that’s a red flag for this writer. No offense to the people in Indiana – just have so many feelings about Indiana.
He’s often busy hosting barbecues, playing pickleball, cheering on his favorite Chicago sports teams, four-wheeling and spending time with friends and family at restaurants and local haunts.
Always a romantic, Turner married his high school sweetheart, Toni, in 1974. Together, they lived a full and happy life with their two daughters, Angie and Jenny, and later two granddaughters, Charlee and Payton. Sadly, after 43 years together, Toni suddenly fell ill and passed away in 2017.
He’s ready to find love again and that we can respect and admire. Cause again, everyone deserves love.
The Golden Bachelor will be hosted by Jesse Palmer, one hopeless romantic is given a second chance at love in the search for a partner with whom to share the sunset years of life. The women arriving at the mansion have a lifetime of experience, living through love, loss and laughter, hoping for a spark that ignites a future full of endless possibilities.
