Have to admit that we had given up on The Jersey Shore. It just seemed like way too much drama and we weren’t into all of that drama (and we love drama). We also missed Sammi Sweetheart (yes, we know that’s not her last name, but hey, it’s what we call her).
The crew of The Jersey Shore was on The View promoting the upcoming season of the show, and Mike “The Situation,” opened up about how Whoopi Goldberg gave them some advice at the beginning that stuck with him.
“When they first came [to The View], they were getting a lot of heat from people, and I was so glad to see you, because they were fresh and they were just ready to do stuff,” Whoopi shared.
She continued by telling everyone the advice that she gave, “I said to them ‘Listen, they’re going to come for you, you’ve just got to stay strong, no matter what.’”
What amazing advice. Mike said that advice has stuck with him and that’s the best thing. It’s the best thing, because we all need that type of inspiration in our lives. We need someone who is going to make an impact on our lives.
Whoopi did remark that she was “so proud of y’all, because you did not let them define you, you all defined yourselves.”
