We are always interested in what is going on between Selena Gomez and Francia Raisad, but we also know that it is none of our business. The two of them have been going through a lot, it’s obvious. We know that they have been through a lot together and whatever happens, the two will always have a special connection.
There have been a lot of rumors as to why they had a falling out. There was the rumor that the falling out was due to Selena saying, in her documentary, that her only friend in the industry was Taylor Swift. Other rumors say that it was because Selena was out drinking and partying and not taking care of the kidney she’d been given.
And then there was the comments that were left regarding the Rolling Stone interview, where Francia said “Interesting” and Selena responded, “Sorry I didn’t mention everyone I know.”
It’s a lot of rumors and if we’re being honest, it’s a lot. It’s a lot for us and therefore we can’t even imagine what it’s like for them.
There is also a rumor that Francia was forced to give Selena a kidney. She addressed it while appearing on The Good Guys podcast.
“Whenever I thought about my name being in the press, I never thought about it like this. I always thought about it from an actor’s perspective,” she said about all the press surrounding her and Selena, “Never in my life did I picture this.”
“I just felt it in my heart, and I knew, I knew I was a match,” she said in regards to donating a kidney to Selena, “No one forced me to do anything. It came out of the genuine kindness of my heart.”
She also commented on why they needed to tell their story, “She and I went public with our situation years ago and honestly we had to. The press got a hold of the story and we wanted to tell it. As for what’s going on lately, does anyone prep you for this kind of stuff? Never. We never get prepped for this kind of stuff. It always catches me by surprise. I don’t know if it’s good or not.”
Francia also commented on not reading comments, saying that she doesn’t, “do well with it. I really don’t. Sometimes I disappear because people are mean. People are so mean.”
People are mean. We’ve seen her comments and they definitely aren’t kind.
We have to remember that we don’t know everything and that social media isn’t real. Whatever is happening between Francia and Selena is definitely their business. We just wish them all the best, because we love them both.
