When you reflect on life, can you pinpoint the moment that something happened? A lot of us can. You just know that something has changed. You just know that you’re growing or falling in some way.
We love seeing people talk about the moments that they knew that they were in love. We love the vulnerability.
Millie Bobby Brown has been very vulnerable and open about her relationship with fiancé Jake Bongiovi. She recently had an interview with The Sunday Times and talked about the fact that she knew from the moment she met him that he was going to be “a huge part of my life.”
We’ve only ever known that something was going to be a huge part of our life when we got our first Stanley cup. We know no trust or connection to a significant other like that.
“I ran to my mum and said, ‘I really, really like him!’ After we met we knew we never wanted to leave each other’s side,” she said in the article. You know that it’s love when you tell your Mum immediately. She continued, “You can’t pinpoint why [someone is ‘the one’], it’s just the feeling of knowing that that’s the person you want to spend the rest of your time with.”
“I think so much of life is overthinking,” she said. “The one thing that made clear sense to me was him. So I didn’t really have to do much thinking.”
Kinda love that a lot. We all tend to overthink things and so finding someone that you don’t have to overthink with, but just can be with, is a blessing.
We love that. We love that this love makes her feel so comfortable and secure. Everyone deserves a love like that.
