The Gabriel’s Inferno series adaptation is quite possibly one of the most popular available on the Passionflix streaming service. There are other good ones on there as well, but as I’ve said a few times before, it was the one that kept me motivated to keep my account in the early stages. What made me love it so much was not just because I read the books by author Sylvain Reynard; it was the execution of the series when it was brought to life onscreen.
Director and Passionflix founder Tosca Musk, broke all three books down into a serial format versus dropping one two-hour movie that doesn’t quite capture every aspect of the book. Gabriel’s Redemption Part 2, is the eighth movie in the installment, and from the looks of the trailer, it feels like this one is going to be filled with even more angst than Part 1. Personally, I thought Gabriel’s Redemption: Part 1 was a little on the long side and it felt a bit slow to me. But, looking at the trailer for part 2, still has me excited about it because I enjoy watching Melanie Zanetti and Giulio Berruti who play the leads Julia and Gabriel. They make me believe the love story.
Check out the trailer below:
Following Gabriel’s Inferno and Gabriel’s Rapture, Professor Gabriel Emerson has left his position at the University of Toronto to embark on a new life with Julianne. Together, he’s confident that they can face any challenge.
But Julianne’s graduate program threatens Gabriel’s plans for their life together, as the pressures of being a student become all-consuming. When she is given the honor of presenting an academic lecture at Oxford, several individuals from their past appear, including an old nemesis intent on humiliating Julia and exposing one of Gabriel’s darkest secrets.
In an effort to confront his remaining demons, Gabriel begins a quest to discover more about his biological parents, beginning a chain of events that has startling repercussions for himself, Julianne, and his hope of having a family.
