Have you ever watched a trailer and gone: oh, okay, new fear unlocked? That’s precisely what the trailer for Netflix’s Nowhere made us feel. Not that we can think of any way we would end up in that situation, but since we never even thought the situation was possible until the trailer, we’re still gonna be thinking about the possibility going forward.
And this isn’t even a scary movie! It’s a thriller.
The description is pretty chilling, to begin with: “Pregnant, alone and drifting in the sea, a woman trapped in a shipping container tries to survive after fleeing a devastated totalitarian country,” but the trailer takes it to another level. She’s giving birth! In the container! While it’s filling up with water! Because she’s lost somewhere in the middle of the sea.
Is it weird that we still kind of want to watch it?
