Look, we’re not saying Superman: Legacy is looking better and better by the second, but we’re also not going to say no to David Corenswet vs. Nicolas Hoult. We have eyes.
Because yes, Deadline is reporting that Hoult is in talks to play Lex Luthor himself in the new Superman movie, and we have some thoughts about it. Probably not the kind of thoughts we should have about Lex Luthor in general. No, all jokes aside, we actually find this casting very interesting. Hoult has played mostly likable characters (except in The Great), and Luthor is definitely not that — and it’s definitely a very different vibe than the last versions of the character we’ve seen, on TV or on the big screen.
