NCIS: Sydney 1×03 “Brothers in Arms” looks to continue exploring the dynamics the first two episodes have done such a good job of establishing. In such a short time the show has already done more than enough to set itself apart from the other NCIS shows — and more than enough to earn another season, but the show isn’t just doing that, it’s also steadily building both the characters and the team in a way that has made NCIS: Sydney a joy to watch.
It’s not just about JD and Mackey, or about Evie and DeShawn — it’s about the entire team and the way they interact together. And it’s about the possibilities of them growing together, the things we might get to learn, the ways they might get to become closer. Just the way a good procedural should be.
