Chicago P.D. 11×10 “Buried Pieces” focuses on Hailey Upton once again, though it doesn’t seem to focus on her in a way that will give her (and us) anything resembling closure. It’s the tenth episode in a shortened season, and with just three more episodes to go after this one, you’d think this hour would categorically set the stage for how and why Hailey is leaving Intelligence. Instead, it seems to be just another case and another opportunity for the show to establish Petrovic as Hailey’s replacement.
And sure, there have been crumbs, but at this point, they are so tiny that we have to squint to see them. This is not the exit Tracy Spiridakos — or Hailey Upton — deserved, and with just a few episodes to go, it’s hard to see the show managing to turn that around. So, what else is there to do but enjoy the few episodes of Hailey Upton we have left and hope whatever it is they come up with is not as nonsensical as what they did to write off Jay Halstead.
Here are the pictures for Chicago P.D. 11×10 “Buried Pieces”:
Upton becomes consumed with a decades-old missing persons case linked to Petrovic after a young child shows up to the district seeking help.

I didn’t know she was leaving the show🥺. This was such a good episode; with Voight away we actually got a story, not just the usual set up a buy/go undercover at a dealer’s/strip club. I found it pretty compelling to watch.
Did not like the monster keeping Ruthie in the box under the bed, that was actually on SVU season 1. Really creepy but memorable and Dick Wolf shouldn’t have double dipped on it.
