Have you ever wondered what the lives of our favorite Romance Authors are like beyond the pages? Passionflix founder Tosca Musk has created a series designed to do just that. The new series, Tosca Talks, takes us behind the scenes and gives us a glimpse into the ladies’ lives who create the world’s we love.
In Tosca Talks, Tosca embarks on an exciting quest across the U.S. to meet bestselling romance authors in their hometowns, offering viewers an intimate look into their lives and inspirations. The first four episodes will air weekly starting Tuesday, May 28th. The first episode starts with NY Times Bestselling Author Amy Daws, where she and Tosca visit the tire shop that helped inspire the novel “Wait With Me.”

The following three episodes will feature acclaimed romance authors Anna Todd, K. Bromberg, and JR Ward. More episodes, including interviews with Jennifer L. Armentrout, Jennifer Hartmann, Willow Winters, Alessandra Torre, and Alice Clayton, will be released this summer.
We were able to check out the first three episodes, which featured Daws, Todd, author of the After series, and Bromberg, Author of the Driven series. It was a lot of fun to watch, and we appreciated learning more about the authors and their process when they write. In addition to this, we also got to learn a bit more about their personal lives. Everyone can appreciate that because it makes them more real, human, and relatable. These women work while balancing motherhood and all the daily things that come with it. This series can guide any woman thinking about becoming an author but might feel it’s impossible because of things like this.
One thing that stood out while watching was Musk’s infectious humor. We’ve seen her enjoy herself behind the scenes during various projects, but this was a whole new level of comedy. It was evident that she and the authors had a blast during the filming. Her reaction to the South Dakota Martini she shared with Amy Daws was absolutely priceless, adding a touch of light-heartedness to the series. There’s another surprise during Daw’s episode as well, and we learned there’s a lot you can do with a charcuterie board. And if you want to learn how to make a glittery and tasty espresso martini Malibu style, you’ll want to check out Todd’s episode as well. Who would have thought we would be getting recipes and writing tips? Each episode runs roughly 20 minutes, so you can quickly get through them on a lunch break if you want something fun to watch.
