We’re counting down to Christmas (yes, we know it is only June). More accurately, we’re counting down to Christmas movies. All holiday movies are fair game and if we’re being honest, right now is when we start planning for the most wonderful time of the year.
Lifetime has announced one of its upcoming holiday movies and it marks the return of Jennifer Love Hewitt to the channel. The actress will direct and executive produce Lifetime‘s The Holiday Junkie (working title). The film is based of Hewitt’s love of the holiday, as well as the loss of her mother.
The movie will also feature Hewitt’s husband, Brian Hallisay, and their children will also premiere in the film.
According to Deadline, the movie, “follows the decorating and planning service company run by Andie (Hewitt) and her mother Mimi. After Mimi passes away, Andie is forced to face her first Christmas without her mother and carry The Holiday Junkie torch on her own. Despite the challenges, Andie may also find some love at Christmas along the way!”
Hewitt previously starred in The Client List movie for Lifetime, which then spawned into a television show in which she also starred.
You can follow Hewitt’s Holiday Junkie brand on Instagram and be sure to pre-order her book, Inheriting Magic: My Journey Through Grief, Joy, Celebration, and Making Every Day Magical, which releases this December.
