Tuesday, July 2: Hard Knocks: Offseason with the New York Giants
The Hard Knocks franchise expands with Hard Knocks: Offseason with the New York Giants from HBO, NFL Films, Skydance Sports, and the New York Giants. The five-part original series documenting the NFL offseason for the first season premieres on Tuesday, July 2, at 9/8c on HBO and will stream on Max. New episodes air weekly until the finale on July 30.
Hard Knocks: Offseason with the New York Giants will have access to the NFL team as they prepare for their 100th season. “Camera crews will chronicle the team’s every move as general manager Joe Schoen and other members of the team’s front office and staff navigate the critical offseason period from January to July 2024, from the NFL Scouting Combine to free agency, to the NFL Draft, and team minicamps,” per its synopsis.
NFL Films, a division of NFL Media owned and operated by the National Football League, produces Hard Knocks: Offseason with the New York Giants, which Liev Schreiber will narrate. Skydance Sports co-produces.

Monday, July 15: LALIGA: All Access
LALIGA: All Access – another football docuseries for the streamer but the first sports docuseries in Spain – premieres on Netflix on Monday, July 15. The two-minute teaser trailer highlights the pressure and spectacle of the world’s largest football ecosystem, which LALIGA: All Access will show like never before. The eight-episode docuseries created by Morena Films will follow the private sports association during the 2023-2024 LALIGA Competition.
LALIGA: All Access feature interviews with coaches within the Spanish competition, such as Míchel at Girona FC and Xavi Hernández with Barça. It will also get to know players – Griezmann, Muniain, Rakitic, Take Kubo, Álvaro Morata, Isco, Memphis Depay, Nico Williams, and Robert Lewandowski, among many others – on and off the pitch.
LALIGA: All Access’s synopsis teases that it “will experience first-hand the trajectory of Girona, the great revelation of this season, as well as other clubs and other stories with a beginning and an end, such as those of Rakitic or Muniaín, among others, who have said goodbye to their careers at Sevilla and Athletic Club in this 2024.” It “will also see up close how players and fans live the great derbies of the country and, of course, the Clásico.”
LALIGA: All Access will stream on Netflix.
Wednesday, July 17: Simone Biles Rising
As previously reported, Simone Biles Rising is a two-part docuseries, with the first four episodes coming to Netflix on Wednesday, July 17. From Religion of Sports in association with the Olympic Channel, the documentary provides insight from Simone Biles herself about her decision to withdraw from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics when “her private struggle with mental health exploded on the international stage,” per Netflix’s synopsis
“Since then, Simone has put in the hard work: facing difficult traumas of her past, learning to manage her mental health, embracing her journey, and in the process, rebuilding her gymnastics from the ground up. Her courage to soar knows no bounds as this summer she plans to return to the Olympic stage once again and do what she’s always done — be the best Simone that she can be. Because through it all, Simone still rises.”
The docuseries debuts on Netflix a little over a week before the 2024 Paris Olympics kick-off on Friday, July 26.

Thursday, July 18: UNINTERRUPTED’s Top Class Tennis
UNINTERRUPTED’s Top Class Tennis showcases four rising tennis stars: five-time junior title winner Ariana Anazagasty-Pursoo, 2023 Indian Wells Junior Champion Joseph Oyebog Jr., 2022-23 USA Today Girls Tennis Player of the Year Stephanie Yakoff, and three-time Junior National Champion Stiles Brockett. The four-episode docuseries premieres on Thursday, July 18, on Prime Video.
This all-access series from Amazon MGM Studios and executive producers LeBron James, Maverick Carter, and Sloane Stephens (2017 US Open Champion), and Wendy Goldberg expands the Top Class franchise with a new sport. UNINTERRUPTED’s Top Class Tennis comes after the four-season run of UNINTERRUPTED’s Top Class: The Life and Times of The Sierra Canyon Trailblazers.
UNINTERRUPTED’s Top Class Tennis “follows the hard work and sacrifice of four junior tennis players as they make their way to the Orange Bowl, a competition that could make or break their careers as tennis pros,” per its synopsis. The docuseries co-executive producers are Matt Rissmiller and Camille Maratachi. Nikki Spetseris is the showrunner.
UNINTERRUPTED’s Top Class Tennis will stream on Prime Video.
