It’s been a month since Bridgerton season 3 put an end to Polin’s love story and we still haven’t gotten over it! A few days ago, Netflix officially said goodbye to Polin season on social media but we refused to let them go. We are not ready yet. So we compiled a list of the top 10 Polin fan videos. Ready?
Here we go!
From the beginning, the relationship between Penelope and Colin (Polin) is based on a solid friendship. Unlike the other couples in the series, their connection doesn’t arise from an instant crush, but from years of knowing and supporting each other, from moments shared in the corner of a ball.
This basis of genuine friendship allowed for a deeper and more authentic development of their love relationship in Bridgerton season 3. We see them grow and evolve throughout the show until they were ready to be together.
Penelope stands out for her intelligence, cunning, kindness and determination. Throughout the series, we see her struggle to find her place in the Ton and confront the expectations placed on her.
Her transformation from a shy, underappreciated young woman, a true wallflower, to a strong and determined woman is inspiring. She stayed strong and true to herself even when her secrets were about to end everything she loved.
Colin, on the other hand, is known in the Ton for his charm and adventurous spirit. However, that is just a facade to hide a truly sensitive young man who dreams of being a great writer.
Realizing what he felt for Penelope and sharing his life with her allows Colin to explore deeper aspects of himself, learning to appreciate the true nature of love and friendship, as well as understanding that he is valuable for himself not for what he can give to others.
And that’s one of the reasons why Polin is so special. Their love is based on equality and mutual respect. Penelope and Colin value each other for who they really are, they know, they see each other as no one else can see them, beyond appearances and social expectations.
Polin represents the idea that true love can blossom in the most unexpected ways and that everyone deserves to be loved for who they are.
