All good things come to an end. Sometimes it is a good thing that it does, because it means that we can move on to the next great thing. One of those good things coming to an end? The filming of Superman.
James Gunn announced that the movies filming has wrapped. This writer obviously only cares cause of the star of the movie – sweet, sweet David.
While filming had wrapped previously in Cleveland (production was moving to Atlanta), it’s now wrapped completely. Doesn’t mean that we’ll get to the next step any sooner, as we have to wait til 2025 for the movie.
July 11, 2025 to be exact.
“And that’s a wrap. God bless our cast and crew whose commitment, creativity, and hard work have brought this project to life. I set out to make a movie about a good man in a world that isn’t always so much. And the goodness and kindness and love I’ve encountered on a daily basis on the set has inspired me and thrust me forward when I felt too spent to move on my own. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. It has been an honor. The destination has been Superman, but the journey has been the toil and the laughter and the emotions and ideas and magic we’ve shared together on set – and for that I am forever grateful. ❤️ (Photo from our first week of shooting in Svalbard Norway.)” James wrote on Instagram.
