You say the name Percy Jackson and we’re seated. We’re wondering what is going to happen next. We’re listening to every word. We want to know what is going to happen.
It was just announced at San Diego Comic Con that Daniel Diemer, had been cast as Tyson. Now, we were definitely excited over this, as Tyson is one of our favorite characters ever.
But this past weekend at the D23 Expo, more casting was announced. The Gray Sisters.
Playing the Gray Sisters — Sandra Bernhard as Anger, Kristen Schaal as Tempest, and Margaret Cho as Wasp. Talk about a casting announcement.
Anger (Bernhard) is the one in charge of collecting the taxi fare from the kids – Annabelle, Grover, and Percy.
Tempest (Schaal) has the eye and uses it to tease our three heroes, as well as see their future and talk to the about their crushes.
Wasp (Cho) is the driver of the taxi. For being blind, she sure has seen it all. Yes, it takes us a second to think about this because she’s the driver and why anyone is getting into a taxi with a blind driver, one will never know.
In the new season, Percy Jackson returns to Camp Half-Blood one year later to find his world turned upside down. His friendship with Annabeth is changing, he learns he has a cyclops for a brother, Grover has gone missing, and camp is under siege from the forces of Kronos. Percy’s journey to set things right will take him off the map and into the deadly Sea of Monsters, where a secret fate awaits the son of Poseidon.
We’re so excited for this! Percy Jackson & The Olympians stars Walker Scobell, Aryan Simhadri, Virginia Kull, Adam Copeland, and Leah Sava Jeffries.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2 will premiere on 2025 on Disney+.
