When we read The Woman in Me, have to admit that there were a lot of tears. We’ve always loved Britney Spears and reading what she’s gone through was a lot. But, it did make us adore her even more.
When we heard about the movie possibly becoming a movie, we knew that our money would be slapped down and all the tickets would be purchased. We just wondered who could possibly take on the job of playing her. Emma Roberts is down.
And she’d actually be really good as Spears. It’s a role that she’s been ready to play for years. One person that thinks that she would be amazing as Spears is apparently Spears assistant.
““I was like, I love her assistant.I mean, it’s my true dream to play Britney Spears. It’s a rumor, but I hope maybe it’ll come true. I mean, I remember I locked myself in my room and listened to In the Zone and said, ‘I cannot leave this room until I memorize every word.’” Roberts said when she was speaking to Cosmo.
Roberts has been a fan of Spears for her entire life. And like most of us, can recall the words to the songs. As the interviewer suggested to Robert, that “muscle memory” would take over, we think that would be all of us. But Roberts went on to say, “Oh yeah! I mean, I sing Britney to my son in the bath all the time. I’m always like, “God, he must think I’m so weird.” That’s some millennial parenting.”
We think it’s good parenting. Kids should know good music.
