We’re going to be honest, 9-1-1 Season 8 looks like the best and weirdest kind of adventure we’re ever going to go on. Campy? Yes. A little (a lot) strange? Of course. But isn’t that better than drama for the sake of drama? Or recycled plot lines with no whimsy? And if you think about it, a bee-nado is actually really, really scary. In fact, it kinda looks like our worst nightmare. Take us back to the tsunami, please. We’ll take that over a bee-nado.
Also, did we need to know that thing about the 500 bee stings in the first teaser? We didn’t! Or I mean, we probably did because we’re sure someone (or maybe more than one someone) is going to get stung and that’s information that’s going to end up being crucial, but on the other hand we kinda don’t want it to be.
So yes, the first two teasers for 9-1-1 Season 8 are basically just bees. This is on par for the course, the teasers are typically about the big disaster. But the teaser trailer? That has actual footage, not just Eddie serving face in his stache. And the full trailer? That has a plane going down because of the bees! So when we say this season is going hard, we mean it’s going haaard.
So, here they all are. First, bees:
And okay, the second one is even crueler, because bringing the Santa Monica pier into it? It’s been seasons, and it still feels like it’s too soon, okay? Okay.
And here’s the one with actual footage:
And here’s the full trailer, which …is Athena going to end up having to land that plane? We all think Athena is going to end up landing the plane, right? That’s the kind of thing 9-1-1 would do.
The show also released three posters for the new season, which you can check out below. Warning, it’s just more bees!

On a scale of 1 to 100, who are we most worried about? Linda, who we know is allergic to bees? Buck, who has the worst luck and actually said the words bee-nado? Eddie, who has a pornstache? Drop your guesses below!
