Doctor Odyssey Season 1, Episode 4 Preview: ‘Wellness Week’

You know that saying, “Nurses and Doctors make the worst patients?” Well, that appears to be the case on Doctor Odyssey episode 4, Wellness Week.

This week Avery is the patient and it’s up to Max and Tristan to take the reigns and help her when she needs to have an emergency appendectomy. Sounds like it should be eazy peazy right? Wrong. Because in addition to this, there’s a hurricane and said hurricane is happening while Avery is under the knife. We don’t know about you all but surgery is already scary enough without the added storm to make it that much scarier. Based on the synopsis it seems that Avery is not the only one who will be having a not so well wellness week. The ships patients are also in need of assistance so that’s going to be difficult for the team to navigate.

There are also a few things we’re curious about looking at those episodic pics. Is the crew playing a game of strip poker? From the shirtless shots of Max and First Officer Spencer, it looks like the two might not be doing so well. We’re also curious about the beautiful lady (Laura Harrier) talking to Tristan. What’s her story? The two seem to be having a moment in the kitchen. And is Avery jealous? Last week on Doctor Odyssey episode 3, she basically told him he was a dude with mommy issues and to get over it, so he’s trying to move on. Avery’s medical emergency may reawaken those feelings Tristan believed were not real. That wouldn’t bode well for Max, who thought he had just received the full blessing from him to date her.

We also imagine with Avery’s emergency, Max will be freaking out. It’s one thing to operate on guests on board, but it’s another thing to operate on one of your own. We’re confident Max can do it, though, as long as Captain Massey can keep the ship afloat.

Synopsis

During a week dedicated to wellness, The Odyssey ironically finds itself overwhelmed by a surge of ailing patients. Meanwhile, Tristan’s new romance sparks jealousy, and Capt. Massey must bring the ship to safety in the midst of a hurricane.
