Put down the radios and close any open files, the search for your next watch is over. The Hunting Party is NBC’s newest high-stakes crime procedural premiering February 2025. Paired with NBC’s credibility in enticing audiences with the mixing of action and drama in long-time running shows like Law and Order and it’s Chicago franchise, The Hunting Party sounds like a promised thrill of an hour well-spent as characters race against the clock to find escaped killers and criminals before they find new victims to torment who wouldn’t even see them coming.
Previously seen and adored in the network’s hit show Manifest, Melissa Roxburgh returns to screens to lead our team as the FBI’s Rebecca “Bex” Henderson. Patrick Sabongui (The Flash) plays CIA agent Ryan Hassani, Sara Garcia (The Flash) plays Army Intelligence officer Jennifer Morales, Nick Wechsler (Chicago P.D) plays Oliver Odell, and Josh McKenzie (La Brea) plays Shane Florence.
The small team of investigators at the heart of The Hunting Party are on the hunt for some of the countries most dangerous serial killers and convicts after they escape from a prison that isn’t supposed to exist called The Pit. Many of them escaped during an event called The Blast, that was certainly planned if the man driving away from the prison as the blast is happening in the trailer is any indication. And now that they’re out, they’re escalating things, making it even harder to predict what they’ll do next.
