We may not understand every trend, but we guess that every trend isn’t for us to understand. It doesn’t matter how many times someone tries to explain it to us, we don’t think we’ll ever understand bleached eyebrows.
But to each their own.
Joey King has made the bleaching her eyebrow decision and though we don’t understand it, here we are. She posted on TikTok (we’d embed, but hey, TikTok ban in the US and all – but don’t get us started) and explained why it is that she dyed her brows.
“I dyed my eyebrows like a week ago. They were like white before and now they just look like the Lorax mustache,” she said.
She then continued, “But I kind of love it. But then I saw my mom two days ago and she was like, ‘I just can’t look at you. You look so weird.”
And then said, “Guys, I know I look weird. That’s the point. I was like, ‘Mom, that’s the point. The point is that I’m trying something different. I’m gonna dye them back but just let me have this.’”
