We know we would normally complain here – but there is no surprise to us that there will only be three seasons of The Summer I Turned Pretty. Why? It’s based off a book series by Jenny Han and it only has three books. That being said, will we be sad when it ends? Yes. But we’ll smile cause it happened.
Amazon announced that the final season of the hit Prime Video show will premiere this July, but it doesn’t give an exact date.
If you aren’t familiar with the show, the official synopsis reads, “a multigenerational drama that hinges on a love triangle between one girl and two brothers, the ever-evolving relationship between mothers and their children, and the enduring power of strong female friendship. It is a coming-of-age story about first love, first heartbreak, and the magic of that one perfect summer.”
Starring in The Summer I Turned Pretty are Lola Tung, Jackie Chung, Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno, Rachel Blanchard, Sean Kaufman, Rain Spencer, and many more.
