It’s Sophisticated Ladies’ week, formerly known as Cougars week, on Doctor Odyssey Season 1, Episode 12. With it, we get the return of Heather (Shania Twain), who made her first appearance in Doctor Odyssey Season 1, Episode 1. From the looks of the preview for the episode, Captain Massey is thrilled to see her back on the Odyssey. And so are we. But we are a bit curious as to why she’s on the Odyssey for Sophisticated Ladies week. Is she there to see Captain Massey? Or does she have a new beau?
Elsewhere, it appears that Max is doing a bit of charming as he dances the night away with guest star Donna Mills. The fun is short-lived when Max learns that he’s got a passenger onboard who is sick with a contagious disease. Just what that disease is, we shall see. But from the looks of things, it’s not going to be good. Heather is on the gurney, having trouble breathing, and Max starts coughing, which means he may have become ill himself. Makes sense that he’s now going to face his own medical emergency, considering Avery and Tristan have already experienced their own. Since he’s still dealing with PTSD after COVID-19 almost killed him, this is going to be a challenge for him.
