We wouldn’t be the first to admit that we’ll watch something – not even knowing what it’s about – if the cast is good. Yes, we know that what makes a good cast is subjective because not everyone likes the same cast. When it comes to Kaley Cuoco and Sam Claflin, I think we can all agree that’s the start of a great cast.
The two are set as the leads in Vanished, a limited series. In the series, “When a romantic getaway to Paris takes a dark turn with the sudden disappearance of her boyfriend Tom (Claflin) aboard a train to the south of France, Alice (Cuoco) is plunged into a web of intrigue and danger, uncovering shocking secrets about the man she thought she knew.”
Sounds dramatic and sounds good to us – a show that will keep our interest. We feel like this is going to be very intense and we so appreciate that. We know we could turn on White Lotus for some drama, but we’re not going to do that.
Starring alongside Cuoco and Claflin are Karin Viard and Matthias Schweighöfer.
Vanished is created by David Hilton and Preston Thompson, written by Preston Thompson (Pixie) and executive-produced by James Clayton, David Kosse, Barnaby Thompson, Preston Thompson and AGC’s Stuart Ford, Lourdes Diaz and Miguel A. Palos Jr.
Production begins on April 28 in France on locations in Paris and Marseilles. We’re looking forward to seeing what comes out of filming and the final project.
