We’re trying to not order from DoorDash, Uber, and Postmates. Cooking at home is all we can afford in this economy. We know that’s kind of sad, but it is what it is. So someone bragging about spending thousands a week on DoorDashis kind of in poor taste.
At least that is this writers opinion.
Loving RHONY, we know that Brynn Whitfield doesn’t mean to be offensive, it’s just sometimes she is. The reality television star does like to stir the pot.
This is one of those times I don’t think she meant to offend. She was on the Trading Secrets podcast when speaking to host Jason Tartick. Talking about her salary, she said, “It’s my DoorDash money. I spend more on DoorDash per week than what I made for a season.”
She was asked about how much she spends a week on Doordash and our jaw fell on the floor. She said, “I spend like $2,000 to $3,000 a week on DoorDash.”
Don’t even understand how anyone can spend that much money on DoorDash. We get that New York is expensive but that’s like rent.
Speaking about money can be considered rude, but we do get that people talk about it. Whitfield continued by saying that she makes most of her money from consulting and says she makes as much “as a lawyer.”
Some may be asking what consulting is and don’t you worry, Whitfield explained what it means, “Consulting means that I have gotten to the place in my career where the clients that I had and the brands that I worked with and the agencies that I worked at were so well known that I’m able to step back, not be in the day-to-day office. Basically, they call me for advice or to work on a deck or create a campaign idea, and they pay me very well for it.”
We’re glad Brynn has a job that she loves, but when people are trying to just survive and most can barely afford food, saying that you spend that much just isn’t in the best taste.
