In a way, this is always the question. Should you stay or should you run to the bathroom? And with Marvel, the answer is always to stay. But lately, the answer has been a little…iffy. That’s why you Google in the first place! How badly do you need to go to the bathroom? Are the scenes worth staying the entire time? How many Thunderbolts* post-credits scenes are there in total?
Well, we’re here to make the movie-going experience easier for you. And to prevent a UTI.
Thunderbolts* has two after-credits scenes
As always, the first one is mid-credits, and it doesn’t take that long to show up. Especially because the credits before it are a pretty fun collage of the world reacting to the team’s new name. Because, oh yes, that’s another big spoiler. Let’s just say there’s a reason for the asterisk in the Thunderbolts* name. And you get that answer at the end of the movie.
If you need to run to the bathroom, though, I’d say run right after the movie ends. If you end up missing one of the two after-credits scenes, make it the first one. It’s light and fun, but it’s not essential. The second one, however? You don’t want to miss that one.
That one sets up…well, a lot of what’s coming in the MCU! Let’s just say that. It’s also a pretty long scene, not just a fun cameo or a wink and that’s it scene. It features all the members of the Thunderbolts*, some references to the Avengers, and even a Fantastic Four tease. We’re not going to spoil it all for you, but this is the one you don’t want to miss.
