Netflix has just debuted the first teaser trailer for Squid Game Season 3 aka the final season of the hit series. And it’s going to be explosive. Last we left off, the players rebellion was squashed, management took control, and fan favorites were killed, leaving all the players feeling hopeless.
The Season 3 teaser trailer opens with the guards delivering a box to the dormitory. Inside is Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae), who is still alive despite being in the box famously known for carrying away the dead. And then it’s back to business as the players are forced to play multiple games, with one being a gumball machine game. We also get to see the VIPs and a small glimpse of Gyeong-seok (Lee Jin-wook) still alive.
According to Netflix, season 3 will explore the choices Gi-hun will make amidst overwhelming despair. As for the Front Man (Lee Byung-hun), he’ll be plotting his next move as the surviving players find their decisions leading to increasingly dire consequences with each round of the deadly games. It’s set to be the third and final season of the series.
