These past few episodes of Found haven’t been the most impressive (to this writer) and instead have made me a little frustrated. It definitely feels as though the show is trying desperately to tie up storylines. The issue is that when you try to force a quick closure or it feels as though you’re jumping all over the place, you disconnect from the characters.
And TBH, I have disconnected a bit. I feel like they are jumping so quickly to tie up this season, but then, I wonder why was there so much introduced? What were the writers thinking? Also, when you think about it – who is the person that decides to be all over the place versus giving a character a moment.
Now, before anyone has anything to say about this – a moment can last a short time and sometimes it can last what seems for forever. A moment is subjective.
Personal tastes and opinions matter. It’s why we like things or we don’t.

THE GAME
Now, now, now… someone needs to run, because making us believe that something happened to Gabi and then realizing that she was trying to make herself sick to draw out Lena. I got so upset, because I genuinely believed that Gabi had gotten kidnapped and taken out.
At what point do we get rid of the Evans family? At what point do we all put them in a mental ward and get them that help that they need. Sir and Lena are INSANE.
Gabi and the team are able to come up with a plan and that involves needing Sir. It makes me upset that we’re at another moment were Sir gets an upper hand. We’re at a point where we have to deal with a man that should be in a padded room, with no link to the outside world. He shouldn’t be allowed visitors, telephone calls, or anything like that.
Gabi also needs therapy. She’s hung up on Sir and the reality is that if she could just let that go. She needs to speak to someone and get help. Instead she’s done everything that can to be a person that is – well – somewhat like him. It’s just not something that makes sense.
Her manipulation was on par with his. It makes me feel as though I wonder if the good guy is also the bad guy?
Yet, I think that what makes Gabi partially redeemable is that she knows that what she did was wrong. She knows that she went down a dark path and she feels like she needs to pay for it.

LENA
Sir tells Dhan that he is going to help with bringing his sister in – because – she harmed Gabi. Everything has to be Sir’s way and that involves the getting him out of being held by the FBI for a day. He gets to be the one to leave his sister messages and draw her in.
There can be no ones input, they have to do what Sir says when he says it, and there can be no questions. Why this wasn’t a walking red flag? Like hard pass. HARD PASS. He needs to stay in jail.
How are the viewers the only ones that could see this?
When Sir asks his sister to meet him at a motel, I was shocked that no one knew this was where he lived for a long time. He wouldn’t bring his sister to a place that he didn’t have an out from.
And they did have a secret entrance. When Dhan says that Lena is late, Gabi is the only one with common sense and is like nope. If you haven’t seen her, she’s gotten in some other way.
And she had. When Dhan and the FBI storm the room – Lena tasers the FBI dude, getting herself free. Sir tries to escape, but Dhan gets him really quickly.
I almost wanted Dhan to take him out, but Dhan wouldn’t do that. I don’t pretend to understand why they keep him around – but I am assuming it is for the sake of the plot.

I was just happy that Sir didn’t escape, because if he had who knows. There is no part of me that doesn’t understand that he’s a part of the series. He is a driving force for all of them – sometimes good and sometimes bad. I am really not sure what the good is – but it’s something that I believe that has to be. Somewhere.
Mostly because I don’t believe that the team at M&A has any intention of being bad. They are motivated to do good because they don’t want anyone going through what they have.
Sir is not a character I will ever understand, but he’s also a character I don’t want to understand. I don’t like him.
But I do love Dhan and his patience and strength – because like I said – he shoulda taken Sir out.
Lena is about to be unhinged, because she found out her brother, once again, chose Gabi over her. She’s not going to be okay with this. I think it will make her even more unhinged.

A MONTH
Jamie reuniting with his sisters and his Dad was something that I think that we, the viewer, have been waiting for. Wanted to see how it played out, but also wanted to see how they all dealt with being with Margaret and Jamie in the same room.
Margaret is a better person than me – because I would have been reminding them all that they didn’t believe in me when I said that he was still alive. We would have had to have had words – I would have screamed I was right.
When they arrived and got to see Jamie – it was a lot. It was a lot for them and it seemed for Jamie it wasn’t a lot. For him, it seemed like he was coming home and that it was something that he remembered, so he fell back into his family so naturally.
For Margaret, it has to have be so weird to see them all together. It is something that she has wanted so desperately. It’s hard to watch her fall apart and hold it all together.
Especially when they all find out that Jamie’s been back for a month.

No one can blame them all for trying to find their own path. I have to admit that I haven’t understood why it is that no one told them that Jamie was back earlier. That being said though, I wouldn’t want to tell my ex either. So I do understand Margaret that way. It feels as though to him, he was the one that was wronged, even though he’d made it his mission to wrong Margaret for years.
The only blessing I saw in this – Margaret reconnecting with her daughters, but also seeing the love that Jami has for his Mom… I loved that.
While Jamie and Margaret had an escape – going to work on the case – I found it a little distraction is a good thing. Do I understand Jamies fascination with M&A? No. But what I do get is that he wants to help people. He wants no one to have to suffer through what he has.
But maybe that’s the thing – people grow. And we don’t have to understand them. What we have to do is listen.
What I didn’t like about this episode was that I didn’t like the ending. Jamie taken again? And by Lena?
Too much.

OTHER THOUGHTS
- Get that the case was important, but to me these last two episodes have been more about character growth
- Jamie is getting more tolerable – which I love
- I hope that next season we get to know more about the other characters
- Getting to know more about Dhan is something I have loved
- Can we know more about Zeke and Dhan?
- Lacey is an underrated character.
- Trent saying he trusts Gabi – I loved that!
