The Creed Universe is expanding at Prime Video with a new series, Delphi. Of course, Creed itself is a spinoff of the Rocky franchise, which consists of Rocky, Rocky II, Rocky III, Rocky IV, Rocky V, Rocky Balboa, and the Creed trilogy. Those three movies star Michael B. Jordan as Adonis “Donnie” Creed. He even made his directorial debut with the third movie in the trilogy, Creed III, in 2023.
Jordan will step back into the ring of the Creed world with the new spinoff series, only behind the scenes – so far. His Outlier Society will executive produce the new show. Meanwhile, executive producer Marco Ramírez will serve as showrunner for the series set within the franchise’s Delphi Gym.
Marking the first live-action series extension of the Creed Universe, Delphi will focus on young boxers at the gym. The series is executive produced by Michael B. Jordan and Liz Raposo via their Outlier Society production company, alongside Winkler Films’ Irwin Winkler, David Winkler, and Charles Winkler. Prime Video has not shared where the series will take place within the franchise’s timeline or any additional details, let alone any casting.

Nevertheless, Delphi is one of many sports entertainment-related news items to come from the Amazon Upfront Presentation. Prime Video greenlit two new sports documentaries from Skydance Sports and NFL Films – The Home Team: NY Jets and an untitled feature-length documentary about Hall of Fame NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens.
The Home Team: NY Jets is a six-part series from the creative team behind Kelce. It will provide fans with “an authentic peek into the emotional journey players and their families go on over the course of a 17-game NFL season.”
The Untitled Terrell Owens Documentary “traces the meteoric rise of one of the most talented, accomplished, and polarizing athletes of America’s most popular sport and examines his role as the preeminent “prima donna” wide receiver of his era, while catching up with Owens in present-day to see how he is evolving and discovering a new personal path forward,” per its synopsis.
Plus, WWE’s Mike “The Miz” Mizanin will host the reboot of the competition series American Gladiators on Prime Video. The Gladiators in the upcoming season will include professional bodybuilders, former D1 athletes, pro CrossFit champions, and pro fitness trainers. They will put their abilities to the test around the world. John Ferraro & Daniel Calin executive produce.
Finally, Prime Video has ordered a new docuseries about prominent multi-hyphenate female CEOs, and legendary athlete and businesswoman Serena Williams is one of said CEOs. Williams is also an executive producer. Alongside Williams, the groundbreaking series will feature Thalia, Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger, Loren Ridinger, Winnie Harlow, Hannah Bronfman, and Isabela Rangel Grutman.
