After ten twist-heavy episodes of MobLand, Paramount+ closed out Season 1 with a finale that answered its central question: Who has really been ratting on the Harrigans? And then some.
The finale (Episode 10, titled “The Beast in Me”) burst with betrayals, murder, and power shifts so sharp they left a literal knife in someone’s chest.
If you’re wondering how MobLand Season 1 ended, here’s the full breakdown!
O’Hara Is the Rat, Maeve’s the Queen, and Kevin Declares War
The MobLand finale kicks off with Kevin monologuing to a dead Rusby, revealing how twisted the Harrigan bloodline really is.
As he mourns his failure to protect Eddie from Maeve’s manipulations, we learn that Kevin’s not the only one haunted by generational rot.
He’s just the one determined to break it.

Meanwhile, Maeve and Conrad are arrested, but Kevin discovers the truth: O’Hara, not Archie, was the mole. In a tense prison visit, he tells Conrad he’s reclaiming the Harrigan name, vowing that in his world, “people pay for everything.”
Back on the outside in MobLand, Maeve delivers a final mind melt to Eddie, whispering conspiracies and power plays from her prison cell.
Her true goal? To crown Eddie the “king” and herself the enduring queen.
Eddie nearly strangles Bella upon learning the truth of his origins. That is, until Kiko arrives just in time to save her. That reprieve doesn’t last: a later shootout kills Kiko, and Zosia takes bloody revenge.
O’Hara tries to play both Richie and Harry, but ultimately gets outmaneuvered. Richie’s goons raid the Harrigans’ hideout, only to be blown up by Paul’s trap. Kevin and Harry confront Richie at the pub and execute him in a brutal, satisfying way: “The Harrigans say hello,” Kevin says before shooting Richie through the eyeball.
O’Hara gasps for air until Harry finishes the job.
One Last Test in MobLand Season 1
With Richie gone and a recording from Nicola revealing her role in tampering with evidence, the way is paved to free Maeve and Conrad. Maeve, ever the manipulator, calls her husband and suggests this was all a test of worth.
“And that, Conrad, is why you love me,” she purrs.

But the game isn’t over on MobLand. Kat, aiming to destroy what remains of the Harrigans, enlists Seraphina and threatens Harry. He refuses to help until she threatens Gina and Jan, his soft spots.
Bella pledges loyalty to Kevin after sharing about her past. That moment is a brutal truth: Maeve’s legacy of trauma echoes through everyone she touched.
And then comes THAT final scene.
Jan, in the Harrigan kitchen, accidentally stabs Harry while chopping carrots. He barely flinches. “Well, now you have my complete attention,” he says, the knife still in his chest. It’s shocking, absurd, and perfectly MobLand.
Will There Be a MobLand Season 2?

While Paramount+ hasn’t officially renewed MobLand for a second season, the finale makes it clear that this crime saga is far from over.
With Maeve and Conrad possibly walking free, Kevin and Bella forming a new axis of power, and Kat plotting from the shadows, there’s enough loose dynamite to fuel another explosive season.
When asked about a possible MobLand Season 2 in an interview with Deadline, series star Tom Hardy replied, “I hope so; I hope so.”
Producer David Glasser also participated in the same interview. He confirmed, “Yes, there will be” when pressed about the possibility of a second season of MobLand. “Same team, same everybody.”
Plus, that final knife twist (both literal and metaphorical) seems like a direct invitation to fans: we’re only getting started.
