In the first 70 days, MobLand Season 1 Episode 1 had over 26 million views in U.S. and other English-speaking markets according to Deadline. “With more than 26 million viewers and climbing, MobLand has become a resounding triumph – driven by the creative brilliance of Guy, Jez, Ronan and David Glasser, and brought to life by the powerhouse performances of Tom, Pierce and Helen,” said Chris McCarthy, Co-CEO of Paramount and President of Showtime/MTV Entertainment.
Over on Rotten Tomatoes, MobLand was praised for bring “intense, gritty, and psychological.” And The Times UK said it was an “unholy alliance between Bennett, writer of the gangland drama Top Boy, and Ritchie, that purveyor of ludicrously OTT crime romps, and you’re hardly going to expect them to birth a courtly period romance. What we have instead is MobLand.”
MobLand Season 1 is currently available on Paramount+.
